Busy Day

Today was crazy busy... and stressful. But I haven't had many super intense pressure/deadline situations since I raised financial support this past summer for my year of full-time ministry with Cru, so that's been like almost 6 months of a fairly laid-back atmosphere. And my soul desperately needed that. But today was good too. Stressful days provide opportunities for me to grow and to learn more about surrendering my schedule and plans to the Lord. Although I don't necessarily enjoy it in the moment, I can look back, see  the ways that God has been doing crazy big things in my life,  and be grateful that things don't always run smoothly. It seems that the grace and peace of Christ is sometimes most clearly reflected in the messiness, ya know?
